As President of the Nebraska Society of Radiologic Technologists, my focus this year is centered on two key pillars:

Raising public awareness of the medical imaging professions

Expanding educational opportunities for both students and technologists
Goal 1: Increase Public Awareness of Medical Imaging
To inspire future professionals and emphasize the critical role imaging plays in healthcare, we will:

Build up our web team to enhance the NSRT website with accessible, student-friendly content

Develop and distribute free educational resources that hospitals, clinics, and educators can use during job shadowing events, career fairs, and classroom visits
Goal 2: Strengthen Education and Support Professional Growth
To empower our current and future imaging workforce, we will:

Launch a new scholarship program dedicated to students and technologists who demonstrate a commitment to excellence in the field
Through these initiatives, we aim to highlight the impact of radiologic science professionals, support emerging leaders, and continue building a strong, engaged NSRT community.
