I have been a passionate radiologic technologist for over 10 years with experience in diagnostic imaging, computed tomography, and education. I currently serve as an educator and clinical preceptor for the Mary Lanning Healthcare School of Radiologic Technology in Hastings, Nebraska.
I earned my associate’s degree from Mary Lanning and continued my education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Radiation Sciences with an emphasis in Computed Tomography.
From the very beginning of my career as a technologist, the highlight of my job was working with students. I love watching them take what they are learning in the classroom and applying it to real life situations in clinical. My goal is to prepare students not only with strong clinical and technical skills, but with a deep commitment to patient-centered care.
I am honored to serve a second term as Secretary on the board and look forward to continuing to learn more about our society while advocating for the radiologic technology profession. I am committed to supporting the growth and advancement of our profession while fostering connection and involvement among current and future technologists.
