Stephanie's Bio

I am a registered radiologic technologist with more than two decades of experience in clinical practice, education, and professional leadership. I currently serve as the Program Director of the Regional West Medical Center School of Radiologic Technology in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, a role I have held since 2016.

I earned my Master of Science in Radiation Sciences from Midwestern State University in 2017, following my Bachelor of Science in Radiation Sciences from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. I began my radiologic education at Western Nebraska Community College and the Regional West Medical Center School of Radiologic Technology, where I completed my radiography training in 1999. I have been a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) since that time.

My professional background includes extensive clinical experience in diagnostic radiography, cardiovascular imaging, CT, and MRI across both Nebraska and Missouri prior to transitioning fully into education.

As an educator, I am deeply committed to advancing radiologic science education and supporting professional development. In addition to my role as Program Director, I have served as an instructor, conference presenter, and educator at the local, state, and regional levels, including multiple presentations at Nebraska Society of Radiologic Technologists (NSRT) annual conferences and educational events.

I have also maintained active involvement in professional organizations. Through my work with the NSRT, I have served in several leadership roles, including President, Board Chairperson, Advisory Board Member, and Secretary/Treasurer. I was honored to be named NSRT Technologist of the Year for 2021–2022 and to become an NSRT Life Member in 2026. I currently serve as Treasurer (2026–2027). At the national level, I have represented Nebraska as an ASRT Affiliate Delegate and participated in the ASRT Leadership Academy.
