I have been a member of the NSRT and American Society of Radiologic Technologists since August 2016. I have served on the NSRT Board of Directors as Student Representative, Nominations Chairperson, Vice President, President Elect, President, Chairman of the Board, and am your newly elected Advisory Board Member. I am also a 2018 alum of the ASRT Student Leadership Development Program.
I have been employed as a technologist since late 2017, when I started as a Temporary Medical Radiographer (TMR) working at Regional West Medical Center and the Urgent Care clinic in Scottsbluff. After passing my registry in August 2018 and obtaining my Nebraska Radiographer license, I worked with Regional West Physicians’ Clinics in Scottsbluff as a staff technologist in Orthopedics, Family & Internal Medicine, and Urgent Care clinics. I also served as a clinical instructor with the RWMC School of Radiologic Technology from 2019–2021. In July 2021, I accepted a full-time didactic instructor position with the RWMC School of Radiologic Technology, and in late 2023, I was elevated to the Clinical Coordinator role.
In addition to earning my Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Radiologic Technology, I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a Management concentration. I continued my education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Graduate Studies, where I earned my Master of Health Professions Teaching and Technology (MHPTT) degree in August 2023.
I am a born-and-raised Husker and have lived in Nebraska my entire life, aside from a four-year stint in Colorado. I have been happily married to my wife, Wendy, for 35 years, and we have two sons, Chase (25) and Keaton (22). We all reside in Scottsbluff in the beautiful western Nebraska panhandle.
I am also a military veteran, having served in the Nebraska and Colorado Army National Guards, including a one-year active deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom from 2003–2004.
