SLDP Application Deadline Extended

The American Society of Radiologic Technologists Student Leadership Development Program applications are now open and the deadline to apply has been extended to November 30.  This program offers students an opportunity to get to know the ASRT, the world’s largest association for medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals.  Selected participants will receive expanded opportunities for professional growth by participating in educational programs, attending the ASRT Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting in Orlando, FL at Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld on June 22-23, 2022.  Airfare, housing, and a meal stipend will be provided by the ASRT.     

Students applying for the Student Leadership Development Program must be able to make a three-year commitment to continuing SLDP opportunities and volunteering at the state affiliate level. In order to be eligible to apply, students also must meet the following requirements:

  • Current enrollment in an accredited medical imaging or radiation therapy program.
  • Current American Society of Radiologic Technologists student member
  • Current Nebraska Society of Radiologic Technologist student member
  • Completed application and essay
  • Signed letter of recommendation from your program director.

 Participants from Nebraska are selected by the Board of Directors of the Nebraska Society of Radiologic Technologists, an affiliate of the ASRT.
